My two year old often asks to run outside and yell "Ahhhhhhh" with her friend Ella B. Doesn't that sound fun? I would love to just run around and scream with delight with no inhibitions these days. Talk about a great stress relief.
Instead, I try to find a little time to quilt.
Current .project (until I get distracted by something else): scrappy trip around the world.
Really pretty! Is this the pattern on Bonnie Hunter's blog?

ReplyDeleteHi Julie B! Yes, I used the tutorial from Bonnie Hunter: http://quiltville.blogspot.com/2005/06/scrappy-trips-around-world.html Fun, right!?!
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful! Looks so perfect too! I just pieced my first postage stamp quilt and I see my mistakes! I look at yours and hope one day I will piece just as well!

ReplyDeleteI love the colours you have chosen.
Got to love a scrappy trip around...
ReplyDeleteLove your scrappy blocks. I just started a scrappy trip too. Plan to work on it in bis and pieces around other projects and deadlines. A nice project to handle this way.
ReplyDeleteLove the colors you're using!
ReplyDeleteThey look great. I love the yellow in your blocks. I've only made two so far but i love how neat they look and how easy the seams match up. This will be a lovely looking quilt.
